AL BROOMFIELD - UNRELEASED SONGS. ONE EQUALS THE SUM OF LOVE b/w RUNNING TO YOUR LOVE. 7" Picture Sleeve. Pre-order. Out 16 October.

IZIPHO SOUL is thrilled to be joining forces with Florida’s celebrated Broomfield musical family to present two previously unreleased gems from the late, great Al Broomfield. Recorded in 2012, these superb tracks showcase Al’s outstanding voice against beautifully crafted productions, offering a compelling reminder of his exceptional talent. His vocals take centre stage, with backing vocals from Dee Dee Wilde adding a further touch of class. On ‘Running To Your Love’, a saxophone solo from Vince Broomfield completes an irresistible combination. A fitting celebration of Al Broomfield’s musical legacy and an essential addition to any discerning soul collection.

Many thanks to Theodore Williams, Alfred Broomfield Jr, Jahnell Broomfield and Vince Broomfield for entrusting IZIPHO SOUL. Thanks also extend to Phil Ward for initially steering me in the direction of these tracks.
